There the kid hears something he ain't heard in a long while.

How's it go again....?

Yeah.... that's the one.

I absolutely love this song.. I could listen to it forever.. and I absolutely love Bastion too! I played this song by ear so there is no sheet music for it, sorry.

  • The Kid thought that we need someone to transcribe this or ATLEAST make a Midi.

To be honest, the Kid was right... Let's hope we survive till then...

  • @brianbelize Kid finds a midi cable and hopes to use it when he decides to film his piano cover.

What do you do with a midi cable you cant use til then? Plant it.

  • hey guys.. seems like quite a few of you are curious to know how i played this, so i will be filming it soon when i get the chance

  • The Kid just waits for awhile, hopin' that Midi file comes soon.

Let's hope the Kid was right.

  • Could you please post the sheet music to this?

  • @brianbelize Seems the whole world was waiting for this midi, and I ain't even asked the Kid his name.

  • @killswitch1504 If you play it on a MIDI keyboard hooked up to a program like Cakewalk to record, it can produce sheet-music. :) BTW, this sounds really good, too.

  • Umm....I'm hearing the background beat, two instruments, and two sets of vocals all at the same time. You, sir, must be a wizard, because this is amazing @.@

  • @UberFubarius thats right, rhythm and both vocal parts are played with the right hand and bass in the left hand

  • @zeroflowne

Conceptually, I can sort of see how this is done.

Left hand handles the base chords (the background beat).

Right hand handles the instrument and vocal (notice how in vocal, the main instrument drops away).

Now, to be able to pick out and separate the two, now that's the talent, skill, and practice showing through.
