  • People generally choose Transat for the cheap price, not for the quality of service. Take a look at passenger opinions found on the SKYTRAX website. It's pathetic at best. Transat for years was known as Air Sardine, so now they reward the flying public with 2 more inches... WOW! what generosity.

  • GOOD THATS GOOD NEWS..now do something about the food in coach..it sucks i love air transat but the good has to to change

  • is that an A330 with 9 abreast seats? less than 17 inch seat width, nice.

  • maybe they should learn now to buy some planes and get rid of the pieces they have

  • 2 more inches ! wow ! That will help ease the discomfort of someone in front of you reclining their seat in your face !

  • All planes are like, either stop growing or suck it up. It was nice of Air Transat to give extra leg room. seriously, the world is full of whiners

  • when flying to florida i had the seat at the very front, plenty of legroom!

  • @jamie514 I complained within few days of my return. But now, I have to say that, just yesterday, I received an e-mail from Air Transat saying that they'll reimburse me. Before this, I had got the response that they wouldn't refund any money and I wrote back saying that that was a real theft. That happened a month ago and I was thinking of raising a complaint at the competent authority, but happily, I received that mail yesterday. I hope that there will be no more problems to receive the money.

  • @ToniSteinig FYI It is on their website plain as day. "Should a substitution of aircraft occur, Air Transat will assign an equivalent seat. If passengers do not get an equivalent seat, they will be entitled to a refund of their seat selection fee. In order to process a refund, passengers must submit a copy of the boarding pass they received and their contact information within 30 days of their return flight." If you failed to complain within a MONTH of your return, whose fault is that?

  • @jamie514 I' m astonished how you dare to say what I'm saying is a lie. But, if you have some role or some influence in Air Transat, given that you know that good how they proceed in these cases, maybe you can help me to recover my money. We can get in touch, I have the e-mails I have exchanged with them.

  • @ToniSteinig surely you are leaving something out. they refund you the seat selection fare if you don't get the seat you reserved for whatever reason. if you had the written confirmation of the premium exit row seating, and didn't get it, you would get a refund. they are not swindlers. you however, are libelous.

  • @ShawnJohnsonFan1616 you could always pay twice as much and connect in any of Atlanta, Chicago, Miami, Detroit, etc and take 3 times as long. Your choice.
