Musique japonaise traditionnelle - Opéra national de Lyon, vendredi 14 mars 2008 — Sōran bushi est un minyō (民謡) de pêcheurs de harengs du nord-ouest de l'île de Hokkaidō. Il a été composé vers 1850. A l'origine, on le chantait a capella. Michio Miyagi (1894-1956), le « père » de la musique japonaise moderne, l'a arrangé pour le koto en le titrant Hokkai minyō-chō. Refrain et couplets sont des encouragements à hisser les filets sur le pont du bateau.
