@acekoh13 Because the Batman outsmarted him in his own mind: and I guess it is a reference to a 'sad clown'. But this is the only time he makes Joker cry: and he gets his own back anyway; paralyses Barbara Gordon, kills the second Robin (Jason) and nearly drives the 3rd Robin (Timm) insane! The defining arch-enemy of Batman.

Let's face it, this joker is great, I think. Before I did not like as well as fans would see him, but to pay a little more attention, I saw that I loved this joker, because what I was looking for a joker to joker happiness tubiera previous series, along with that of the Dark Knight which is somewhat gloomy. This combination is what I like.

Everyone says that they hate this version of the Joker and when I watched Batman vs Dracula I was like WTF! but now that I've really seen him in action I've grown to love this new Joker!
I wish I could find "The Laughing Bat" and "Strange Minds" so I can fangirl over him.
