because they were very barbaric(no offense to arabs)in their tactics and had the zeal of a brand new religion behind them.Also Iran had been weakend and there were some on the inside who wanted a take over to take place,thinking that they could control the new government from the inside,however what these traitors didnt count on was the hightly anti-Persian sentiment that the invaders brought with them,which led to opperession of Parsi's to the point of an attempt to destroy their Parsi language
