  • @clabbe77 You won't go wrong on them. I bought mine for 3000 euros. In januari they detected a little bit of rust and they did a full respray with high grade tectyl at the Alfa Romeo specialist here. So I should be good until the body will rust away. Which doesn't have any rust at all. ;)

Just be sure to check the usual things when you buy a car though. Leaks, dry engine top and bottom, rust, state of tyres and how they are worn (alignment), etc.

Good luck with the purchase if you do. ;)

  • @LogiForce86 You are right conserning the 8valve engines in Integrales. They were fitted stock with cats but the 16valve engine did not have it stock. I have actually been thinking of buying one of thoose HPE as well actually, they're very cheap in Sweden. The dark red metalic is very nice indeed!

  • @LogiForce86 Quick answer: Get the money! :)

  • @clabbe77 At the Alfa Romeo specialist they still have a rare Alfa Romeo 155 2.0 16V Q4 TURBO with wide body. It has the same engine and drivetrain components as the Delta Integrale. And only 34 of them were made like that. I'm itching to get my hands on it for only 10.000 euros. But I don't have the money at the moment. lol

  • @clabbe77 Yeah, I think it was manditory for cars from 1990 or 1991 and up to have catalysts in them (my dad's Opel Kadett 1.6i Supreme didn't have a catalyst). And those Delta Integrale's were made up till 1992. After that you got a new generation Lancia Delta's, of which I own the Lancia Delta HPE 1.6 from 1999. With a nice rare dark red metallic color (factory color).

  • @LogiForce86 I own a Lancia Delta Integrale and it comes with a catalytic converter as standard. This car in the movie appears to be from 1991, an 8 valve and then it does indeed have one. I suspect the Lancia is tuned motorwise or the driver in the Evo 6 having problem using the car to it's full potential.

  • Hahaha la voce sotto che fa: ciao ciao!

  • @LogiForce86 phaha this evo dont have any catalyst plugings ..

  • @blindun Don't forget that the Delta's overall weight is a lot lower then the Evo's. Plus it doesn't have a catalyst plugging up its tailpipe like we have on all modern cars, which just sucks the power out of the cars.

That said, the engine indeed does deliver more then the older engines do in comparison (when both have or do not have a catalyst, just to make the fair comparison).
