However little the step, every progress in the acquisition of new skills is always taken by trying to do something you cannot do yet, most often by imitation. Think of little children learning the violin; it sounds terrible in the beginning (!!) because the child tries to master/imitate something 'quand (in your words) on en a pas encore les moyens'. The child tries it over and over again -- and suddenly it succeeds! The only way to learn a new skill is to try doing it, to imitate the master.

Euhhhh c'est une méthode originale, mais je suis pas sûre que ca puisse donner le moindre résultat lol au contraire, mais bon.... Le problème n'est pas la façon de jouer de Gould, qu'il soit conformiste ou pas, le problème est de vouloir l'imiter surtout quand on en a pas encore les moyens...

Raaa mon long com à pas marché!! je recommence lol (parce que je suis virée mais chut faut pas trop le dire lol) Dc ne pas l'imiter parce que : - beaucoup de gens détestent- tu te fais casser dans n importe quel concours ou examen- tu n'as pas encore les moyens techniques de le faire,on ne comprend plus rien, c'est instable rythmiquement,ya des trous,aucune dynamique; alors que plus lentement tu pourrais nous faire un truc parfait, mais la nimporte quel prof te demanderait de ralentir ^^

Mille fois trop vite, chercher à imiter gould est la PIRE chose que puisse faire un élève! C'est dommage, ca pourrait être bien sinon.

There's absolutely nothing wrong in trying to imitate Gould and play faster 'than you actually can'. In fact it's the only way to learn to play fast.

Eventually, I think many people don't like the Gould's version (Goldberg recorded in 1955)...
I believe he was a "maverick" (!) while most people are "conformist"...
Everyone abides by the customs ; Gould is our except.
