  • A normal stroke into a frozen CB results in a clean single hit, so it is not a "push." For more info, see NV B.63 - Part 1 (on YouTube or on my website linked in the video description).

  • ... continued from previous reply...

I have several videos (in the HSV section of my website) that show how a normal stroke into a frozen CB results in a single hit. I also just posted a feature video dealing with frozen CB shots. See NV B.63 - Part 1.

  • Ever tournament and league can have their own variations on the rules, but the most widely used rules are the WPA World Standardized Rules. These rules (which are considered the rules standard) clearly allow a single hit into a frozen CB. I'm not sure, but I would be surprised if a frozen CB shot was a foul at the US Open.

    ... to be continued ...

  • So this shot wont be called a foul in, say.. the US open 9-ball tournament?

I also recall you making a video on the topic of frozen CB & OB. In that video you showed you can do a single hit when shootingthe CB into the OB. However I cant find it anymore? Is it still on youtube?

  • No, not when the CB is frozen to the OB.

  • isnt that a push foul?
