@fuelinjectedmaniac I think we've established you despise the Cube with a passion of hatred... Message heard loud and clear. Other people, like me, love the style. It seems like the ultimately practical urban vehicle. The reason why it is popular in Japan is because the cities there are very dense, there simply isn't room for big vehicles. But the Cube makes the most of a small space. Footprint of the Cube is smaller than many subcompact cars. It simply works and is very roomy inside.

@bj615 quirky is about all it has going for it maybe good for hauling the occasional pals to a get-together but there isnt much that is really that cool the weird design doesn't help it and you take it out of a 30-40 mph zone that flat windsheld is gonna bitch, it just doesnt scream road trip, a small suv or cross over will age better then that thing
-
@fuelinjectedmaniac The vast majority of people can't afford a Porsche... And people want space.. And the quirky vehicle has a lot of perks. Try not to over-analyze "cool"... Some people like this car, me included. It is not a racer, but it is functional and urban friendly. Space and small... Its a paradox in a box.

@bj615 and how would a technology lover get there kicks outta this thing? its not like it has ground breaking technology in it like the mclaren or veyron or that new porchse hybrid racer, there was no attempt in the video of any navigation or anything remotely considered technologically cool, unless you talking about technophiles like ppl who think the second symphony of sine wave is a classic of musical achievements then yes it screams hipster idea of cool very different from the reality ofcool
-
@bj615 well every cube and similar car I've seen on the road has had a pair of boobs directly behind the steering wheel so hmmmmmm maybe they are cross dressers :P
-
@fuelinjectedmaniac The cube doesn't say female or 16 year old... It screams technophile IMO. Most Cube owners I have known are male, FWIW.

The Cube's design will forever be a talking point, but what this car screams is functionality and/or technophile IMO. Sure, you may need a certain personality to buy one (of which I may be compatible with), but if it isn't the quirkiness you're after it is the price point for what you get: a reliable vehicle, low price, and SPACE in a compact design. Why waste money on a sub-compact economy car when you can spend the same money and get this much space and still achieve 30mpg? Cube offers it.

@heybiglinus I am a conservative Republican by the way you white trash moron buy a truck seriously? I have no need for a truck I do not build houses or plow snow. I do not own a HVAC business, nor a roofing business. Why do I need a truck to be manly? I am a Ron Paul supporting Die hard Conservative And I own a CUBE!
I WANT ONE!! I LOVE THEM!! :)
