This was a simple rock song we wrote so that one of our sound students would have a song to record for his assessment. It became a running gag to get people onto stage for the final choruses because it's so damn easy to sing.

The song is inspired by a real story. I was about 19 and wanted to buy a pie from the local Jesters shop, and I couldn't choose what pie I wanted because I was distracted by this absolutely gorgeous girl behind the counter.
As it happened, she was just getting annoyed at how long it was taking me to make my selection, but IT WAS LOVE I TELL YOU.

*ahem*. Anyway.
Melma!

  • YAY!

  • PLAY BOUNCY RABBIT!

  • their amps go up to eleven!!

  • The titled reminded me of a time I was at a mall in Denver in the 80s. There was these too chubby ladies in exercise clothes (leg warmers & all) standing in a chocolate shop. Interesting juxtaposition. Your tune reminds me of something from spinal tap. Great jam, dig it!

  • HAHAHAHA thats true)))))

    rock on melma!!!

  • Yeah! Pie shop woman! Tom reckons this will be the song that doesn't appear on any of your albums but is played as a fan favourite encore at all your gigs. Lol, I can imagine them shouting "Play pie shop woman!! PIE SHOP!! Wooh yeah! PIE SHOP!"
