Cream was a blues-based band! I think he sang the blues well. Jimmy Dewar was a most excellent singer, one of my faves.

Jack's a great bassist and he has a good tenor, pop music voice. But he ain't no blues singer. He could never, ever, come close to the soulful wonder of James Dewar.
