Do your sensei a favor and stop making vids of your sparrings and training or ask him for permission. If you even have a sensei.

Can´t follow your arguments.

Kendo is good - developing good skills.

But Kendo is not the holy cow.

There are other ways of crossing weapons in a respectful manner.

Where did we treat each other in a disrespectful manner - a sparring with bokken can only be performed in a trusted and respectful environment - bad insuries would occur, if any respect would miss.

Sparring with the bokken is a form of training which is older than Kendo...

what the fuck i don't get any of those arguments?? I was actually surprised at their skills, sparring with bogu and shinai is one thing but with bokken and almost no gear, this was a realistic fight with good self control. Respect

@darthrudious Probably for the same reason for which most people adore stupid films like Kill Bill; Real fighting isn't fancy enough. Most Katanafanboys who never even held a real sword in their hands believe there should be a sort of suppremacy, the better fighter has to win clearly in one instant aso... Basically, as soon as a person talks bad about a sparring like the one above it is a proof he knows nothing about real swordfighting ;-)
