we need to free the scientist from the coercion from their funding models- we need the best people speaking absolutely freely and openly with the best data available so we can get clarity on what is actually happening! We need more Lovelocks! The issues are way to important not to let any means to inhibit this open debate!

Lovelock's simple and direct evidences simply destroy every last denial of what is happening to Earth and to us. Unfortunately we are energy addicts, and it seems we're going to need worse and worse experiences with our addiction till we meet our catastrophic match, and have to change---if anybody's left.

I couldn't agree more about scientific funding. we need to let them do science, not politically expedient yesmen work.
