The iconic setting of Istanbul is the backdrop for Act 3 of the 2011 Extreme Sailing Series. The 11 boat Extreme 40 fleet reveled in the gusty and shifty conditions on the Halic estuary off the Golden Horn today - hulls fully flying, nose diving as the boats flew downwind in the gusts on the short and tight courses. Six different Extreme 40s won a race today after 7 races with Terry Hutchinson's Artemis Racing coming out on top. http://www.extremesailingseries.com
