I had the pleasure of knowing her when I lived in Las Vegas. She was one of the finest performers I have ever met. She and Patsy Cline are my favorite female vocalists.

Tom, you are absolutely the greatest, and for me a great inspiration. At age 75 , I started teaching myself piano from a Fake Book, concentrating on old songs from the 30s, 40s and 50s. I could play them OK, but only after stumbling onto your tutorials, using the chord piano methode could I really break free from trying to play the mrlody line with the right hand and really try to rock the rythmn and make the song come alive. God, i wish I been able to view your teaching and style much earlier.
