  • what wonderful people and a wonderful sanctuary, the trouble is people have these birds without fully understanding them or the commitment that has to be made.

  • Lily- exactly and thanks for pointing that out! A way to help the rescue is to tell people often in casual conversation from now on.

  • Awesome video. The work required is a tremendous endeavor for every case. Wonderful work. I would love to help but have my own hands full with our rescues also. A license should be required to purchase a pet bird.

  • Thank You - I agree with the license idea.

  • hey i got a parrot its alomost been about 2 months i have it how do i bring it out? do u need to cut its wings ? cuse we leave the door apen and it just flyes and stayes on the light the whole day. and if we cut its wings iam afaired its gonna get mad or sad plz help me !!!!!!

  • Where do you live ? Are you wanting to bring it to the rescue? You can have its wings clipped and it adjusts very quickly. Thanks for commenting.

  • You can not look at this awesome vidio and not KNOW that there are angels on earth! I wish I could help but no money so I will just love the heck out of my birds and pass the word on to others!

  • @TheSkaterboybrc13 The cockatoo could easily hurt a cockatiel. You could have one of each, but i wouldnt recommend letting them out together, and keep their cages across the room from each other,If you must have them out together, CLOSELY supervise them so the cockatoo doesnt bite off the cockatiel's toes. or kill it.

  • Hi would a cockatoo get along with a cockatiel??

  • that is sweet. he is beautiful.

  • ahh sadd i would love any of those birds!!!:)

  • im watching this video with my well loved budgie on my shoulder he must be very surprised to see these poor birds.

  • @18isKOOL please dont say cut its wings. that makes it sound as if u cut off its wings while really only a few feathers are cut off.

    Call it wing clipping ok?
