the excellent sound is also a contribution of the guitar. The instrumentents of Ivo Magherini can develope a special soul (search also for: bartolotti passacaglia in g matthew cellan jones - baroque guitar).

    kindest regards - S.

  • I keep coming back to this video. I really love the way You play. I really thinking of getting started with the baroque guitar. Thank You for the inspiration.

  • sublime, lovely interpretation!!!

  • I like it!

  • Very professional playing

  • There's a lot of baroque guitar music on You Tube and some of them dosent sound very good. But this clip is in the top league. Your guitar sound very very good. Its hard to see but in the beginning of the clip the camera is focused on your right hand and it seems to me that you dont play with nails wich might be the cause of the good sound. I'm not a baroque player myself - i play a 19th century guitar with gut strings and no nails. Check this clip on U Tube - Duo Historico.

  • Bravo!

  • Jeu délicat légèrement inégal. Excellente prestation.

  • I couldn't make much sense of this piece when I played it on a modern guitar years ago. I read that the baroque guitar is a completely different beast. But only your playing has opened my eyes or ears for this music. What a great performance, flexible tempo with the pulse of the music. This is a joy to hear. Thanks an awful lot for sharing.

  • Wonderful performance. A real sense of Francesco's stile. Sweet tone in that great Ivo's guitar. Much kudos. Look forward more of your videos. Do you have any CDs? Congrats!
