C'mon people, it's not that complicated. They disconnected the driveshaft to the back wheels and put it on a FWD dyno. That's all. They do this to get a better gauge of actual power since AWD dynos are expensive and don't read as accurate as a two wheel only dyno.

they are awd but even with a awd dyno it is extremely hard for the haldex awd system to understand what is going on
