The Season was boring but the cars were the peak of F1 racing, they will stay the fastest racing cars for a long time. They should bring back regulations that makes the cars like they were back then, only with slicks and without traction control. The 2009 cars look ugly and sound like F3000 cars, this isn't the F1 anymore. Ecclestone and Mosley should go, they're digging the grave for this sport.

I dont get the whole F1 has to be environmentally friendly ....road cars that are used every day buy millions of pepole has to be environmentally friendly those make the biggest effect on the enviroment not a few F1 cars ....... that a place where fans want to see the best engines the loudest and the most advanced aerodynamics and electronics ....no rules just the best team wining with the best ideas to make the car go as fast as possible not like now.cars look like formula 3000 cars

@blerand91 Well all it would be is the 053 engine in the new chassis. Actually, if were talking F1 Frankensteins, I'd but the RA168E V6 in the new chassis, for one lap only of course, couldn't run it on 1300 hp for too long I wouldn't think.

@cmac1021 Yes I also mentioned they're faster because of KERS and DRS,this is a big bonus for them,and I agree 2004 cars had the best design,but imagine if we take elements from both cars we would have a monster car.I'm just trying to say that a Red Bull in same conditions does a faster lap than a Ferrari in 2004,no matter of the subjective reasons simply they do faster laps.Just wait and see until the end of the season

@blerand91 I wasn't necessarily talking about pole laps, a lap record is a lap record, that's all I was saying. But yes Monaco will prove alot, I bet the 2011 cars are faster due to the better aero and KERS, The Monza record should stand for a long time, the modern cars don't have the power to challenge it.
