The Smashing Pumpkins' "We only come out at night" cover, transcribed and performed by myself on an early 20th century harpsichord.

In keeping with the vampiric undertones of the lyrics, I chose to perform my version on a harpsichord, the instrument par excellence of the undead.

I'm sorry that my singing is mediocre. Hopefully you can hear past it and appreciate what I was trying to achieve.

  • I love what you did with this; you wrote such a beautiful rendition of it for the harpsichord, and the way you played it was absolutely lovely. There is something very romantic about that instrument. :) Thanks for sharing!

  • @Susannanah Thank you for such kind words. I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

  • You're the coolest kid ever! I love it, and your voice has a very billy corgan thing going on about it, you sang great!

  • @UnNamedAsylum Consider it a birthday present, just for you! ;)

  • This video was posted on my 16th birthday. that is just awesome

  • @hymntonight try having successive images corgan or self related ...or song related, will keep people keep watching... :)

  • @springflower57 Thank you for the advice. I'm just sorry I don't own a video camera, because people generally prefer watching a video than hearing a recording. The image is a scene from the vampire film Nosferatu, which was a huge influence on Corgan's wardrobe during the "Adore" era; so it's actually relevant in a way. At any rate, thank you so, so much for your kind words!
