The String Quartet was written in 1927 and is in 5 parts:-

Allegro
Prestissimo, con sordino
Non troppo lento
Allegretto pizzicato
Allegro molto

The Carducci Quartet are :-

Mattew Denton - violin
Michelle Fleming - violin
Eoin Schmidt-Martin - viola
Emma Denton* - cello

Recorded at St Martins, Worcester.
Part of a concert in conjunction with Prima Corda (Gloucester Academy of Music) and Worcestershire Youth Chamber Strings

  • I really like the performance, but there's so much room and probably camera noise it's hard to enjoy for long. Just getting a mic on a wire near them would do it.

  • As cameraman I was the least important person in the room. Would I like to mic up and light up? You bet. But not possible.

    Of course the great things about noisy YT is that it helps encourage people to buy the music they discover. Or book the performers, if you promote.
