Pretty cool, rudimentary construction skills are great, and always a learning experience. The great thing about projects like this is it involves imagination and motor skills, no Autocad software required neither HAHAHA

A cloth tape measure can measure the circumference of a persons head and
Since Circumference = 3.14 x diameter (about),
The diameter of the hole for the head opening should be:
diameter = Circumference / 3.14
also radius from the center to the edge of the circumference is half the diameter
