Tricky Questioning vs Lateral Thinking

Having read some questions posed as apparent lateral thinking exercises on a YouTube video, only to read the answers provided in another video which I found to be quite UNderwhelming. The questions, for the most part, would have been better exercises in critical thinking or as part of a study of reasoning with basic inductive and/or deductive logic. So I thought I'd take a crack at positing a few questions (though I don't have the advantage of having a book to draw them from so I drew hem up myself) in video form, with answers to follow. hey yo. : ) Take your time. I was just thinkin' up tricky questions, and figured I'd play with them in iMovie. Some things are just personal variations of the way I remembered trick questions being used in class years ago. My brain was probably spinning too pedantically to make some of these really approachable. But, hell, go at it. I'd love to see ya beat 'em.

1; what?, i don't think i get the question :s

2; the same amount, but divided over two buckets?

3; don't get it :s can you explain "ancient zen maxim"?

4; the same reason why crime writers still use that trick in their books?

5; is it necessary?, doesn't the exception sets the rule?

These are really hard, i bet i got none of them right :p, i think i now understand the difference between lateral thinking and tricky questions,.. i'm way better at tricky questions :p
