http://www.robertjohndavis.com A summer's night in Carland,MI finds Nickel Plate Road #765 roaring past Kelly Lynch, T.J. Gaffney and other actors in period dress during Pete Lerro's August 2009 photo charter. Run in conjunction with the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society and the Steam Railroading Institute, the weekend featured both NKP #765 and Pere Marquette #1225 working SRI's string of vintage rolling stock (with some modern cars added for tonnage).
On the evening of Saturday August 29, 2009 we spent several hours putting #765 through her paces as the big Berkshire ran numerous runbys for the cameras. A well run event and a well behaved photo line resulted in fantastic photos and videos. Numerous runs were made after sunset.
It sounds just like the Milwaukee Road 261!

Very Nice Video! Thanks for posting - kinda reminds me of O. Winston Link's night photos, and makes me want to head over to the Whistle Stop Cafe for some fried green tomatoes! Thanks again - excellent work!
