Experiment 1: Mentos and Diet Coke explosion.
We tried this 3 different ways:
1.) Drop full sleeve of mentos in close cap, shake, loosen cap slightly, and watch it explode.
2.) Take cap off, open mentos, and drop all mentos in without sleeve, (without cap)
3.) Drop full sleeve of mentos in, close cap tightly. shake fast, loosen cap, and throw against ground.
All worked well but we had the most sucess with try number two (shown in video.)
This is a quick, cheap, simple, and fun experiment you can do at home. (:
