  • God that tone is just garbage!

Love the gear dude, you got some sick chops too.

Think I should save up for the TR Sig or cheap out on a victoria amp? (half a year vs a year wait) I've got a fender CS strat, but my amp now just isn't up to par.

Let me know what you think.

  • Save for the TR!

  • i know a great recipe for dick. first marinate the dick in a lemon sauce, seasoned with a pinch of oregano. Pre-heat your grill (preferred method) or griddle on a low heat of about 325 degrees. Next, remove the dick from the marinate and sprinkle a dash of sea salt. Place the dick on the grill and cook at 325 degrees, as to retain it's juices, for approximately 7 minutes each side. Remove the dick from the grill, add a little parsley, and, viola, great tasting dick! Enjoy!

  • Mayer uses the original BB1.

The BBII sounds nothing like it.

Either way guys, the tone is clearly in the hands. You can spend all you want on gear, but if you don't practice and get your technique down you'll never be able to make the guitar sing.

All this gear has made people worry more about what pedals they have than how they play the guitar.

    I'm guilty of it myself.

Let's all stop arguing about pedals and gear and remember the best way to improve your tone is to improve your playing

  • THAT'S THE INTRO FROM THE BRIXTON GIG!! NICE.

  • You spent all that money on a Two Rock, yet you can't even record it properly so that the gorgeous tone is done justice? That's an embarrassment.

  • Don't press down so hard with your thumb. All your bass notes are sharp as a consequent.

  • @Rickman769 You're absolutely right, but while tone is subjective... no one sounds good playing through a Squier starter pack. The epic battle between single coils and humbuckers, high gain vs. blues drive, smooth vs. crunchy, tight vs. loose, and warmth vs. brightness will rage on for eternity most likely, and everyone has their personal taste for tone, and that largely comes from what styles of music they like to listen to. Practice makes perfect, but your gear can give you "the sound."

  • @LoveForAAR plus, he kinda sucks

  • @LoveForAAR You idiot. Its the camera, not the tone

  • i don't like those pickups

  • webster hall
