Street Fighter IV Voice Actor Interview Part 1

Why I fansubbed this:

I was looking for an alternative to Windows Movie Maker , which was pretty bad for subtitling. I heard that most anime fansubbers these days use Aegisub, so I tested it out with this Street Fighter IV Voice Actor Interview(bundled as a pre-order special in Japan for the original SFIV) lying around. Before I knew it, I already had 5 minutes done. So I figured I might as well keep going and finish it up, seeing as no one else had fansubbed this.

There's borders on the right and left, I'm not sure why Virtual Dub added them automatically. The original file didn't have those borders.

Translation Notes:

The term "Suto 2" comes up a lot. That's the abbreviation Japanese people use for Street Fighter 2. Japanese abbreviations for games are rather common, like Kingdom Hearts - KinHaa, Tales of Radiant Mythology - Maisoro, Dragon Quest - DoraKue, Crisis Core - KuraKoa, Subarashiki Kono Sekai(You guys probably know this as TWEWY) - SubaSeka, etc.

5:19 The term "iromono," originally a term used in the show business, is fighting game jargon. I don't know if "third-rate" is the right translation, but it's probably close enough. 8:04 -- Dhalsim's VA is obviously referring to the shoto characters. The term he uses "sanshu no jingi,"is a reference to the Three Sacred Treasures of Japan. You can read more about that here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imperial_Regalia_of_Japan

9:11 　Sakura's VA knows what? I'm not sure. Maybe I'm misinterpreting it.

I like Hiroki (Ryu) and Kenta (Zangief). Strange/amazing to see Kenta do the voice.

I was surprised I was able to read most of the Japanese names, but I googled them to make sure, and added them in the subtitles, stacking subtitles was an interesting thing to do.

That way, interested people can google for themselves to see what other anime/games these voice actors worked on

sakuras voice actress is too cute for words, i was amazed to see blanka in person for over 1000 hours of combined sf4 vanilla and ssf4 ive listened to him and now i can put a face to the voice. cool video

Wow. It didn't even play Honda's theme during the interview with his voice actor, good job. Just more proof that Crapcom hates the greatest character they have to offer.

the guy who play ken also play in streetfighter V2 , im glad he still on the scene as for me i grow up with ken alot more then ryu because idk i dont like when ryu is too seirous i like ryu when he was still 17 but when he grow his dark hadou he lost his funny side
