Trisha Shirey spices up dinner with her favorite mustard greens and tips for growing them. Consider Asian varieties like Mizuna and Mibuna, or Tendergreen, a cross between spinach and mustard. Add colorful purple varieties to accent winter annuals, even in containers. Get her mustard green recipes at www.klru.org/ctg.

  • Oh yes, I recommend the Asian greens, they are delicious. You can also add the greens into a hot pot or noodle dishes like ramen or udon -- throw them in to boil as you would a fat carrot slice or two. Delish! Perfectly nice cooked up with rich meats too.

You have a very clear, pleasing speaking voice. Thanks for this vid!

  • I live in FL and just bought some mustard greens to plant now...can't wait!
