Since many left Jesus in John 6:66 because of John 6:54, why wasn't there a similar occurrance in Acts 2, Acts 4 and the rest of the book of Acts?

No, wotanodyn I'm afraid you're wrong aswell... Even though the changes made to the original Creed are used by the Catholic Church, the RC Church still fully recognizes the old text of the Niceno-Constantinopolitan Creed officially. However the change was still approved (even though opposed) by Pope Leo III. It is merely a different custom Western churches practice. There were a great number of issues which together caused the Schism. The change to the text was surely not the only reason.

I'm sorry but the facts are on the Catholics' side - the Eastern Orthodox split from the original Roman Catholic (Western) Church during the 11th century (the Great Schism). This means that the only direct 'descendant' of the Church Christ started is in fact the Roman Catholic Church (if that is what you mean by 'true'). Please look up facts before attacking Catholics.
