God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit are ONE GOD. God the Father is the Spirit of Power. God the Son is the image of the Invisible God: Colossians 1:15-20; John 1:1-5 & v14; Jesus Christ is Deity: Colossians 2:9-10; His the Almighty: Revelation 1:7-8; He is the SAME God of Exodus 24:9-12; 6:2-5; 33:11; Genesis 18; 32:30; Numbers 12:4-9; Deuteronomy 34:10. Jesus is God: Titus 2:13; John 20:27-28. Jesus and the Father are One: John 10:30 & 14:9 - He is I AM: Exodus 3:14; John 8:58

What Bible are u reading? Hear Oh Israel, the Lord our God is one. For in HIM dwelt all the FULLNESS of the GODHEAD BODILY. Colossians 2:9. Isaiah 9:6, The mighty God, the everlasting Father, The prince of peace. U not reading or u don't understand the scriptures. Acts 2:38.

Job 13:6-10, Will ye accept his PERSON? not PERSONS! Isaiah 40:25, 41:4, 43:3-15, 44:6-8, 24. 45:5-7, 12-19, 21-22. 46:5-10. 63:3, 5-6, 16. Matthew 1:23. St John 1:1-14, Galatians 3:20, GOD IS ONE. Ephesians 4:6, Colossians 2:9, 1 Timothy 3:16 1 John 5:20, Genesis 1:26=Proverbs 8:22-36. Titus 2:13, St John 20:28. I just don't see how anybody can go along with the trinity after reading these scriptures. No where does it state anything about three persons in one. Acts 2:38 is still God's plan.

@olmon1 John 14:20 Surely doesn't mean the disciples are also God. THAT I AM IN MY FATHER; in his bosom, in union with him, partaker of the same nature, perfections, and glory with him, and equal to him: AND YOU IN ME :
that they were in union with him as the branches in the vine, and as the members are in the head, and how they were loved in him, chosen in him, righteous in him, AND I IN YOU; formed in their hearts, living in them, dwelling in them. > Don't be silly.

@olmon1 Thanx. But could it alse be not only of their unity and agreement in their testimony, but of their unity in essence or nature, they being the one God. So that, this passage holds forth and asserts the unity of God, a trinity of persons in the Godhead, the proper deity of each person, and their distinct personality, the unity of essence in that they are ONE. More than just being in agreement.

@DeeStinger1 That are scripture is true. Your application of it is faulty however. They are 'one' meaning that they are of one mind, in agreement with each other. Not as you imply 'one entity'. Does John 14:19-20 mean that all the disciples are also GOD because Jesus says that they are in union with him and he is in union with the Father???
Well, I guess I'm like a little kid in my faith. I simply believe that there is only One God, who is manifest in three seperate persons. The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. God is Almighty and surely can manifest Himself in three different persons if He so wills. They took on their respective roles in order to fulfill their redemptive plan for mankind. "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are ONE" (I John 5:7).

@olmon1 Would you happen to be a Jehovah's Witness? Sounds like it. Its bad that people don't even know who Jesus is. They try to strip Him of His divinity. Say He was just an angel. He's just a teacher, prophet, anything but the God He is. Thats the spirit of antichrist and salvation is not possible to people who deny who He is. Good Night.
