The Schlicker Organ Company changed hands a couple of times after the untimely death of Herman Schlicker in 1974. The company was considerd closed in 2002. It is now revived under new ownership. I hope they continue to build fine quality insturments!
There is a 1964 3 manual, 44 rank Schlicker near me at Keuka College, Penn Yan, NY. It is a joy for this organ lover to sing bass in the choir loft at Keuka's Norton Chapel! The bass section stands just a few feet in front of the organ pipes!

Losing a lovely instrument like a pipe organ to fire is a horrible thought. I'm glad you were able to save a number of pipes to be incorporated into the new Schlicker. Thanks for posting the specifications. Do you have any present or future plans to post a video of someone playing the organ? We would love to hear it!

damn shame about the fire. my church also had a fire, luckily it was about 100 years ago, so we are still blessed to have our 1930 Moller. your new organ still sounds great though. too bad the acoustics aren't better in your sanctuary.
OOOPPPS! Sorry, I found several excellent recordings of this organ by clicking on "more from this user". your playing is outstanding - a joy to listen to.

You're welcome. A lot of people asked about more detail about the organ.
