Cher's national anthem in the Atlanta-Broncos Super Bowl ranks in the top 3 for me. Listen to it. Whitney's was lyp synched and cannot be counted.

Omg, you guys are sick as fuqk....Whitney Houston killed it hands down. The Dixie chicks? Really, Really! Come on now people, Whitney had POWER to her performance it was emotional, there was passion, I could really feel it. The Dixie Chicks harmony was great but they sounded like a regular trio, nothing spectactular!

I forgot to say for male version's I think that Josh Groban's anthem at the Lions vs Packers Game was the best so far, he is the male version of Whitney's anthem! GOD BLESS THE USA!

All were great I think since she did it alone Whitney Houston was my personal favorite of all time so far.... I also liked Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, Jordan Sparks, and Mariah Carey's performances. I don't know why but I think it sounds better when women sing it. I think that Charice would be amazing if she sang it.

Would you people get over hating the Dixie Chicks, I love the United States and don't hate the dixie chicks, what the hell ever happened to freedom of speech anyways?

"Freedom of Speech" protects Americans from government persecution for the expression of their opinions. The Chicks' rights were not violated. Those who disagree with an expressed opinion also have a right to express their opposition.
