I agree completely- That's not Gomez! Out of all the characters described in the book, I thought Gomez was the most distinguished in looks (white-blond hair, tall etc.). This guy doesn't even look Polish!

Definitely not my idea of casting for Gomez - not my vision of Clare either. And Henry should have been Christian Bale.

And by the way... Ron Livingston is HUGELY attractive in an incredibly odd, adorable way... and if Gomez had looked like brad pitt in troy, or as i like to call him "hey look at me i'm a walking condom stuffed with walnuts" then i would of left the cinema straight away, trying my best not to vomit

I'm just going to out there and say it. Yes he looks nothing like gomez is described. but lets not forget Ron's performance was really good! I wish they had made his character more prominent and more complicated like in the books, because i wanted to see him do more of his version of gomez. I am a huge fan of the book, the movie didn't live up to it, but crapping all over an actor who did a perfectly fine job in a crap movie just because he's not blonde and good looking is just shallow and sad.
