The worst part for me was at work when I was depressed. Co-workers viewed as being lazy, snotty, or aloof. Which was the complete opposite. It took all I had inside to push through the day and being isolated just made me feel worse. But to tell them the truth or the times I did, I would then be labled as 'crazy'. And that was just a horrible feeling.

Read Explaining colours to a blind man. Not only will it enlighten many as to what living with a mental illness is like, it also gives comfort to those sufferers who think there is no hope and that they are alone. It is very informative, sometimes shocking but also very funny in parts. All in all, a good read and highly recommended.

yes a time to change needs to change with proffesinals of the mental health system i.e dr,s i do aggree we can stigama ourselfs but service users and ex services users have been doing this for years in support groups!!but i hope as you say you will support as we need it to go to parliment which includes giveing people damageing lables!!ragards dean
