Malaysian Blogger Arrested

And in Malaysia an opposition blogger has been arrested for allegedly displaying a national flag upside down on his website. It comes as the government comes under more pressure.

The man is known as Kickdefella and is the second blogger to be arrested in a week.

Malaysian opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim is demanding a vote of no confidence in the government.

The blogger is being held under the Sedition Act. He is known as a supporter of the conservative Islamic PAS party, which is seeking to topple the government of Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi.

That just shows how inhuman and dictatorial Malaysian government is. It will do everything in its power to stay in power, even detain its own citizens for expressing their own opinions. Isn't it time Malaysians do something about that? I just hope you Malaysians has the balls to do the right thing to preserve your own personal freedom.
