Reports have been coming in from everywhere that some of the Verizon iPad 2 tablets are having issues with connecting to the cellular network. While it appears to only be a small percentage of them, as (bad) luck would have it, one of the impacted units belongs to our very own Jon Rettinger. He fired up the trusty video camera and filmed what it takes to get it working again, along with what also doesn't work, and I have to say, this looks annoying as can be.
Luckily Boy Genius Report is reporting that the next version of iOS, 4.3.2, is already in the testing stages, and it looks like this will resolve the issue as well as fix a few other minor bugs with the tablet overall.
Have you experienced any issues with connecting to the Verizon network with your iPad 2?

Did they get this problem fixed? I've been driving myself nuts trying to figure out if I should get an AT+T or Verizon. I think verizon might have better coverage in my area but AT+T shows a decent connection. They should configure them so you could have the choice to choose right on the ipad. Any info would sure help. Thanks

So I don't give a shit about the quality of the iPad 2 sound quality :)

Well I have 64gb 3G Verizon iPad 2 white and I just tested if I had this problem but lucky me I don't have this problem and I also bought a 1gb data plan

Why buy and iPad 3G for an extra £100 when you can buy a mifi which also allows you to connect up five devices including iPad,iPod etc. Also it uses wifi so you can still do FaceTime using 3G you can not do FaceTime.

FAKE!, your room was entirely foiled that's why you didn't get any reception, and when you turned off the iPad 2 tons of midget ninjas run into the room and removed all the foil, so when you turned back on you were able to get signal XD
