We at Markzware offer a no-cure, no-pay InDesign file recovery service for bad, damaged, corrupt or otherwise not opening .INDD documents. I must say, we are seeing this service used by numerous people - DAILY. This video highlights a twist or rather interesting file from earlier this week which we managed to pry open with our unique method of correction - using our Q2ID (Quark to InDesign) and ID2Q (In-Design to XPress) with QuarkXPress to fix or open them! The message was as such in Adobe InDesign CS3 version; "Missing Plug-ins" - and it listed the two used InDesign Plugins of Conditional Text and WorldReady.InDesignPlugin. The message further reads, "The document "Xxxx.indd" uses one or more plug-ins which are not currently available on your system. Do you want to open anyway?

And that is where it got funky. Or better said, "Adobe InDesign cannot open this file!"
