Speedflight off of the Timpanogos bench, Utah. Calm at launch, gained elevation and while turning back towards the ridge experianced a 100% collapse, falling 238 feet (vario) before recovering.

  • Hi Jason, Tried posting a video of a collapse I had on a Slide 18 I was testing, hope it gets to you otherwise search Glidewatch and you'll find it. Came out nice and quickly and not as mega as yours, slight leg flip. Actually feel safer after this, just like you did, you need to keep your head and restore your heading! BW Bill

  • @glidewatch Thanks man, I appreciate it. Good fun! Jason

  • Hi Jason,

At 1:14 you turn left back to hill, at 1:16 you centre your brakes then it looks like a violent full stall as your legs flip up in front, with slight turn to left. You are in stable spiral at 1:21 hands up and recover well. Have you altered you brake line settings at all by shortening them? No other ideas, obviously it is lifty but there is no sign of inversion or anything to cause turbulence out front. You had the height and it recovered in 3 seconds, nice one . BW Bill

  • @glidewatch Havent altered the brakes at all, that wing has alot of travel in the brakes as well. Thanks for your view of it. Have a good one, Jason
