  • @cwcwful I'm not sure what it is either?? you never know, he could be improvising? pauls amazing at stride!

  • Any one know the name of the piece music, he is playing?

  • very reminiscent of donald lamberts stlye of stride. I like it!

  • @mikedaugherty My comment was directed at the recording, not the sounds as they were played live.

  • Super stuff, dear chap - many thanks!

  • Are you kidding me?

  • This is the REAL DEAL man!!!

  • I was there and it sounded great. No need for 'correcting'.

  • One of the other reasons the right hand sounds louder is because the recorder's closer to the right end of the keyboard. I think you would hear the balance you want if you were there in person. This effect could also be corrected quite easily in the recording studio.

  • Dear bigstriderman,

please listen to Wellstood, he dug the "hardest" LH so far, but he never ended up with any "loud" LH phrase (that is: in contrast to dependent RH dynamics). I wish I had Paul's ideas, relaxation, concentration and patience. Paul's indeed one of the very best. Cheers... and big thanks to bixchick007 for that fine vid.
