One of the other reasons the right hand sounds louder is because the recorder's closer to the right end of the keyboard. I think you would hear the balance you want if you were there in person. This effect could also be corrected quite easily in the recording studio.

Dear bigstriderman,
please listen to Wellstood, he dug the "hardest" LH so far, but he never ended up with any "loud" LH phrase (that is: in contrast to dependent RH dynamics). I wish I had Paul's ideas, relaxation, concentration and patience. Paul's indeed one of the very best. Cheers... and big thanks to bixchick007 for that fine vid.
