I remember watching this on tv as a 10 year old in 1963 and was inspired to play the guitar which I do even today. Him and Julian Bream have never really been surpassed because of the enormous repertoire they both played and recorded. I saw both artists as soloists and also as a duo in the early 80's. I feel honoured and lucky to have seen them at their very best.

Insane mind-bending space-rock java by the Australian God of the Guitar.

Wonderful !!!!

@ditman333 Don't remember what I was replying to--it was two years ago--but I thought this was a very lively version. Probably very like the way Julian Bream would have played it and in contrast to early John Williams, which was technically impressive but rather dry.

Such a short song, but as beautiful as any other.

@jessyquedens What about him? This is John Williams not Julian Bream.

That low bass drone reminds me of a hurdy-gurdy. Very clever.

dude, do you have any idea of what playing guitar does to women?
