  • I'm open to correction on this, but I believe

"The Bop" was an attempt to start a new dance craze just before Rock 'n' Roll be-

came established, but the Bop faded away and it goes without saying what became of "Rock!"

  • I was first introduced to Ray Conniff with an album of these songs by D.J. "Art" Ulyss Andrews of Ozark, Alabama. He was working at WSBB, 1230KHz., New Smyrna Beach, FL about 1957. I've been a Conniff fan ever since. Last favorite of his: "Invisible Tears."
