  • @braincarpenter86 When i am on the interstate i do not drive it over 75 (unless playing around). Keep your rpm's down below 2300 and it is amazing the gas mileage these cars can get. Also i do have a viper spec t-56 that helps out a little and a hell of a tune ;). My idle is set around 780-840. It jumps around depending on the temperature and humidity.

  • @stuntrider Yes its a N/A 2V that runs 11's (with the recent addition of the trickflow heads) and its my daily driver.... whats your daily driver run? As for the cobra hood and bumper, they look way better than the stock bumper and hood. If you look, i still have all the GT badges so its not a cobra poser. Best of all it gets 25 mpg thanks to my viper spec t56. I can drive it rain or shine, dark or light, hot or cold.

  • @briancarpenter86 he's talking highway mpg's...

  • @deltavstang How do you get 25MPG? I have a stock 2000 gt aside from the welded on flowmaster 40's and two cut cats and I get 16-17. Did the cams hurt or help your mileage? and it sounds like your idle is tune really low, is that the case?

  • clean i miss my gt 2v ftw

  • nice GT how do you like the trick flow heads? my heads are getting p&p all new spings/ valves. with hi tech stage 2 cams + all the bolt ons. im shooting for around 330rwhp. what were your numbers? and btw the termie hood and bumper no wing combo looks secksi..

  • Them cams are great i have them in my 99 gt

  • Lets just say, I'd rather put a cam in about ten 5.0's rather than do one more 2V cam job.

And if you plan on going mod motor, I'm assuming you're gonna want a 4V.....Dont bother with cams, let someone else do it
