@whammybarfreak you're going to have such a versatile use if you go the FRFR route. I'm regretting dropping so much on a cab now. I'll be getting my Alto TS112A on Saturday and my amp/power amp and cab rig will be collecting dust for awhile.

i just got my axe fx 2, and im thinking about getting a couple 1221's instead of like mesa cabs, would they do well as my everyday source of sound if i just plugged straight into them from the axe fx? or would a power amp and 412's sound better?

You can tell Misha's a tech guy. I get excited when I finally get something I've been saving up for. Those Mackie powered subs are pretty cool.
