WARNING: Not for young viewers.

The Day of Silence Walkout Coalition is urging a one day absence from schools that participate in GLSEN's Day of Silence. Students should be free to support traditional marriage and relationships, without their peers seeing them as bigots. Teachers should focus on academic subjects, not on silent activism or changing students' minds about sexual issues. If schools permit the Day of Silence in class, students are best off somewhere else.

Day of Silence is supposed to be a campaign against name-calling, bullying, and harassment. Capitol Resource Institute opposes the bullying of all students. Yet Day of Silence supporters called staff members at CRI and another coalition organization "disgusting" and "evil spawn," threatened that they could die soon, and much more. See for yourself what Day of Silence supporters are saying.

  • I feel like both sides have gone this far. Not just the gay side. It's people in general. They'll step on you, to prove their religion is right. >>

  • Regardless of this Christian propaganda, stripping people of their individual freedoms is unconstitutional. Same-sex couples getting married isn't harming anybody else. Let them be. I'd be pissed too if some religion restricted me from marrying the opposite sex. If these phone calls were real, then those people were at fault for making those calls, but that's aside from the real issue: the morality of stripping gays of their right to get married.

  • obviously the makers of this video want people to kill themselves. But I dont so I support the DOS

  • @Poliphorum yeah I know, jeez, some of these "christians" would support the KKK

  • "My Day of Silence '11" check it out. its my entire day wrapped up in a video log :)

  • wow its a shame people act this way I am a good catholic and I might not agree with gays but I will NEVER treat them like anything less than a human being with just as much right to live thier lives in peace as I do its sad how much they have to go through no matter who they fall in love with or what they do in thier home they are abpove all HUMAN and should be treated as such! Please repect them they have feelings people thier not infected animals

  • People CHOOSE to participate at the Day of Silence. They CHOOSE to once stand up for something. Ofcourse there are allways people screwing it up for the rest, but so there are Christians.

Screw all you guys who are against LGBT's. Open your mind, open your eyes and shut your mouth. Just see what you guys like you are doing to other people, by just hating them for nothing. Start thinking for yourself and don't just copy some lame text about what IS right and what IS wrong. There is no truth.

  • The only way to true tolerance is zero tolerance of the intolerant.

  • @MrBalto57 just because you said this i am subscribing! :D

  • @MrBalto57 Please, enough of this. They are God's children just as we are! Love your neighbor! Does everyone forget that now a days. I am a Christian, and yet, every year I tape my mouth shut because seeing someone take their own life because of a lust is wrong! I do not condemn people to hell, I will not let someone be harassed and mistreated because of something, that even in the bible it says they have no control over! Shame on you, God made us all equal, shouldn't you love your neighbor?
