I can scientifically determine that giving this video a thumbs up is a rational and sustainable decision.

There has to be a Revolution..sry folks. The 3% are working together and will attempt to wipe us out before we get this plan moving. Prepare for the worst.

Am I the only one who has a problem with this video being way, way too quiet?

and yes apple is evil. keep your hand of all its products.

we should keep burning all oil available on this planet and push the space program as far as we can to inhabitation mars and moon.

These videos are great. I like that they are to the point and cover all the major topics... Good work!

@myrmidon666 don't give up, keep on reasoning with them until they see the light :)
It's not easy, but that why the Zeitgeist movement exist, spread the word, without good information and a big population support the resource based economy won't happen for sure.
I've talked with people that were really against it on the beginning but are now part of the team, great success!

@stephenrblv That is the point of TZM, to take values from reality instead of delusion, to wake up to what is really happening, and to become the type of beings who DO belong here. A sustainable world is only the goal of TZM, the movement itself is about being the change we wish to see in the world. Of course people are going to be cynical and occasionally abusive towards us as we share our knowledge but it is only a defence mechanism of this system. This is why we were indoctrinated.

lol @ 1:00 . Map of oil reserves overestimates abundance of oil in middle east. I say those fields are exploitable for 15 years max. The best oil fields are in Libya atm and they may last 15 to 30 years.

What makes you think we belong here? The fact we have to choose a path which is obviously against our habit of consuming everything, pretty much tells me we are visitors here on earth. Most people are trying to sustain themselves now. Why are people still having children? is there a shortage of people? We don't belong here so yes, most things we do here are going to look pretty silly.

@syldanna "The scientific Method supports that sustainability is at the expense of innovation."
How did you come to that conclusion? Innovation often means a new way of doing things which then has to be judged by the criteria of whether or not the new way of doing things is actually an improved way of doing things. If it's not improved then what's the point of inventing the new?
"Clearly without the "evil" profit model, scientific innovation..."
profit = innovation? Where is the correlation?

This was great, just one correction. You used a picture of K. Mark when you talk about communism, you should've used a photo of Lennin or Stalin, because there are huge similarities between the ideas of Marx and the Zeitgeist Movement and They separeted with he's ideas just about the beggining of the revolution. Just read the books of Marx and Stalin and Leninn's speeches to verify it.
-
This is the most truth I have heard to date, very good, consumerism is killing us and this planet.
-
Great video and commentary. We need get off the hamster wheel of consumption and produce products that last. The curent system is not sustainable and soon we will be forced to change our habits. We now live in the age of consequence.

SWEET

evolution is cool

Great audio commentary!
-
The Carl Sagan audio sounded weird.
-
masterpiece!

Finally, once the sixth piece of the cake left. :D

Using the scientific method to arrive at all decisions sounds like the most rational and practical way to create a sustainable, unhindered, and collaborative society.
The scientific Method supports that sustainability is at the expense of innovation. Clearly without the "evil" profit model, scientific innovation would be a small fraction of what it is today.

@syldanna "sustainability is at the expense of innovation"
Yes, as long as there is a price tag. If this statement doesn't shine a light on an obvious flaw then I don't know what does.
As long as we continue to relate to the world in a way that has been culminated from pathways of primitive thinking, we'll never update those views in accordance with new understanding of the natural world. It's called, selective attention. Unfortunately, the profit system knows this to well.

lol @ human intelligence. I don't know about all of you but, a majority of the people I have ever met are stupid and/or close minded. This is all great but, nearly everyone I have ever discussed this with thinks it won't work.
Some think it is a pipe dream (and thus will never happen), some see it as an attack on their religion (and immediately become offended), and others become confused (can't grasp the "money is fake" concept).

@myrmidon666 I've ran into the same situations talking about this direction with others. I find that it isn't the ideas themselves that people reject, its their own cultural indoctrination that is keeping them from opening up. All social structures are self-perpetuating, they reject new ideas that interfere with established values. The only way to get through to someone is to find similarities, if they are religious, bring up (patriotism). If they are patriotic, bring up (money), and so on.
