Dual CSX Freights in West Springfield, MA., March 27, 2008. The Leads on both units are GE AC60CW's. This is a slight grade but these Diesels are working, hence the smoke output. This is pruned back as the length of the original is nearly ten minutes.

  • So the 6000's are down your way.. I caught 608 and 5000 saturday.

  • I think in the first pair at least of the big six's is a re-engined one with a new GEVO-16CYL diesel. Listen very closely to the first pair which sound different and then listen to the true HDL in the leader when the second train takes off.

  • that emd is so small compared to them

  • in palmer that couldnt happen

  • In Texas I see alot of two trains going the same direction. (Austin)

  • Yes 2005,but it was like a heavy traffic day! OMG,which almost every day there! That day two locomotives running light followed each other side by side almost, and went ino the yard!
