Sexual Assault, Update, Man arrested, Russell Kirkpatrick, 44

The Toronto Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance with a sexual assault investigation.
It is reported that:

− on Monday, July 12, 2010, sometime after 5 p.m., a 61−year−old woman was walking on the paved path of Pine Hills Cemetery in the Kennedy Rd. and St. Clair Ave. E. area,
− a man approached the woman,
− he dragged her off the main path and sexually assaulted her.

On Wednesday, July 14, 2010, Russell Kirkpatrick, 44, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1) Aggravated Sexual Assault, 2) Attempt Murder

He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, Courtroom 412 at 10 a.m.

The Toronto Police Service would like to thank the community for their assistance in this investigation and is asking the public to continue to provide any information regarding this crime or any other that this suspect may have been involved with.

My heart goes out to this poor woman and her family, for what we citizens have allowed to happen!

In my life I have met many rapists, pedophiles and killers, all of these people knew they had mental health problems before they committed these unspeakable sick crimes and tried to get help before hand, but never got the help they needed then committed these crimes!

I am quite sure Russell Kirkpatrick was involved with the catholic church as a child and sits in his jail cell reading the king James version of the bible daily and nightly, they all have and do!

Strangling an elderly woman of 61 years of age in a graveyard when she is visiting her desisted mother’s grave in her most venerable state, then raping her for up to 4 hours when she is unconscious?

We strongly need a hospital where these people can get anonymous medical mental health treatment with out a health card before they commit these crimes, after they commit these crimes they just need to be killed to stop it from happening to others!

I would like to thank the Public for helping finding this fucker down. Now, I just hope that proper justice is served because my aunt deserves her justice. She is is still in the Trauma unit and it's been 2 weeks since the incident and her life will never be the same again.

i'm ashamed to say not only did i know this moron...but i dated the same girl as him....drank beer with him and had him in my freakin apt as he lived in the same building at scarboro golf  club and lawrence for a while before bein thrown out by his roomate....how little did i know what a dick he really was !!!!
