I purchased special hardware to convert ratty old video tapes from Apple and from my personal library so I can put them up on YouTube and share them with everyone. OK David and Tyler, you (and an elite crew of others) asked for it -- now you got it.

More to come.

  • The cheap way to do this is to this is to take a VHS Player and connect it to a PC or Mac with a TV Tuner Card. Connect a coaxial cable wire from the output port from the VHS to the input of the TV Tuner card. Press Play on the VHS. On the computer, press record. Save the movie file to the disk. When done, you can now burn the DVD to the disc! I want to do this sometime with my Sony VAIO and my iMac!
