I had to witness that terrible shooting that day. It happened right in front of my parents while my kids were outside playing. It makes me wonder if that's why they were putting up such a fight cause they knew the kids were out there. You officers are heros in every way! And I will never forget you guys.

The second officer that was injured, Nick Armstrong, just passed away, today, August 7, 2011. He grew up in Rapid City and was on the police force for 2 years. This has been really hard for everyone in Rapid City.
