Aaron riding in his car seat on our vacation. He is 3 years, 4 months old and 32 lbs. He is rear-facing in a Sunshine Kids' Radian.
As you can see, he is perfectly comfortable RF and actually prefers it over FF. His long legs are not an issue at all.

Ohh good for her! I wish I could get that. My son (in the video) is now outgrowing his Radian by height and will be going into a Monterey booster (same company as the Radian) soon. However, he'd still fit in it RF (but not FF) if I had the XT! Weird, huh?

Thanks for posting this video. We are thinking about buying one of these because of the extended harness weights. Is he in a radian that goes up to 65 pounds or 80? Do you still like this seat? Any complaints at all? Thanks!

Since we're in Canada, it only goes to 65. The 65 and 80 are identical as far as how you use them, aside from the weight limits. If I had the choice, I'd rather get the new Radian XT (like the other commenter) in order to get the RF to 45 lbs. My oldest (in the video) is now 4.5 and could RF in the XT still! My one and only issue with it is that it can be hard to install in some vehicles so I recommend trying it out before you buy it or make sure you're able to return it if it doesn't fit.
